Fighting misconduct, one incident at a time.

Botler was born from our founders’ lived experience, with a mission to make the law clear, actionable, and accessible. What began in 2017 as the world’s first AI helping victims of sexual misconduct assert their rights has since evolved into a trusted, evidence-driven platform that strengthens justice, protects public safety, and now powers enterprise compliance.

Our Journey

  • Born in Justice, Built for Impact

In 2019, Botler reached a global first when the Department of Justice Canada authorized our AI to detect legal violations and deliver AI-powered legal support directly to citizens. This five-year initiative created a national legal aid model that provided bilingual, circumstance-aware guidance across federal, provincial, and territorial laws. Tens of thousands of people relied on Botler to confidentially learn their rights, explore remedies, and navigate the justice system—establishing a new standard for how AI can serve the public interest.

  • Earning Trust, Driving Reform

Our work gained international attention, earned recognition from leading publications, and built trust with citizens seeking to pursue their legal rights. In the process, Botler’s AI uncovered systemic procurement vulnerabilities within the Government of Canada—findings that helped drive historic reforms in federal procurement.

  • From Justice to Enterprise Compliance

Today, Botler’s AI powers enterprise compliance. Delivered as headless APIs, our Agents enable organizations to operationalize complex regulations—planning with intelligence, proving with evidence, and generating audit-ready outputs that withstand scrutiny. From public sector accountability to enterprise compliance, Botler turns complexity into clarity.

From a Government of Canada News Release

The Honourable David Lametti, P.C., Q.C., M.P.
Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada

Everyone has the right to feel safe and secure in their workplace. I am proud to support Botler AI’s innovative project, which will ensure that individuals who have experienced workplace sexual harassment can find the legal resources they need to get justice. We all have important roles to play in creating and maintaining workspaces where everyone can feel safe and respected.

The Honourable Marc Miller
Minister of Indigenous Services

It is truly unacceptable that, in 2021, we still hear stories every day about sexual misconduct in workplaces right across the country. When sexual harassment occurs, it impacts the health and well-being of those involved, as well as their ability to perform their jobs, and creates a negative, environment for all. I am proud to be supporting Montreal-based Botler AI in its efforts to harness digital technology to address sexual harassment in the workplace.
